A reinterpretation of the archetype of Little Red Riding Hood. “Little Yellow and the Wolf” explores the coexistence of light and instinct through felt puppetry, where color, texture, and emotion replace the traditional symbols of the tale.
In Little Yellow and the Wolf, the familiar story of innocence and danger is transformed into a quiet dialogue.
Through wool, felt, and thread, the tale sheds its literal red cloak to reveal something more intimate, the meeting of two forces that no longer oppose, but understand each other.
The girl, dressed in yellow, carries light within her, while the Wolf embodies shadow and instinct.
Together, they form a fragile balance between tenderness and wildness, stitched carefully into fabric and fiber.
This piece reflects my exploration of emotional duality through textile illustration where softness becomes strength, and color replaces words.
