Intense Girl and Her Emotional Plants

Part of my narrative textile works, a puppet representing an emotional young woman whose plants mirror her inner feelings. Made with wirw, thread, and mixed fibers, this piece bridges illustration and sculpture through symbolic storytelling.

“Intense Girl and Her Emotional Plants” is a project I began years ago. It all started with drawings full of emotions, tears, and intensity. Later, I felt the need to give life to those lines made with my pen. That’s how this character was born, emerging from the deepest part of me, revealing a very intimate side that, with age, I’ve realized many women, perhaps all, share: our intensity. This intense girl feels so deeply that her emotions overflow and consume her entirely, yet words are not enough to express them. So she decided to give them life, turning them into seeds and planting them in fertile soil: in pots, gardens, and even greenhouses.”
